Okay Lets Start at the Beginning

For those of you who don't quite know what's going on . . . for some time Mike and I have talked about relocating before we get too old to want to get up and go . . . so on March 25th we put our home up for sale in Milwaukee. We went on our scheduled visit to Arizona on March 30th and on April 2nd we had two offers on our home in Milwaukee. We accepted one offer and on April 4th the offer was signed and the home inspector came and we passed the house with the exception of one minor detail that we will be taking care of. Now, we are just waiting to make sure the buyer's VA loan goes through. If so, our closing date in Milwaukee will be on May 30th.

In the meantime, while in Arizona visiting Mike's mom and sister, we purchased a new build in Sahuarita and we will be staying with them while our house is being built as we cannot stay in Milwaukee now that our house is sold. Unbelievable how God has worked out all the details thus far.

But boy are we busy, Mike and I have to quit our jobs so that we can start getting rid of goods and packing what we are taking. We have to rent a truck and then rent a place in AZ to store our stuff. We are hoping to get some help from our family and friends as we start our journey.

It is both a happy and sad time for us as we break with the past and start afresh. We will miss all our family and friends, but always know that we will be back to visit and you all will have a place to stay in AZ. Will check back again later!
