About Me

My photo
I love to spend time with my hubby and exploring the sights and sounds of our new environment in AZ. I like to encourage my friends and be available when they need me. I love the Lord and serving in any way I can. I am a romantic at heart. In my spare time, I enjoy all types of paper crafts, stamping, scrapping, etc. (Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited my site). Thanks!

Rollercoaster of Emotions

Well, after today, I will officially have eight days more of work. This is a very emotional time for me as I have been sitting here in this chair for the past 12+ years working in my home office. It is kind of surreal to think that I am leaving this job and will have to wait on the Lord to see what type of work I will do after we relocate to AZ. I don't know yet what kind of job that Mike will get and that will help us decide what, if any outside work, I will elect to do. I am going to concentrate on getting us settled in and helping Mike find a job once we get to AZ. This is surely a step of faith on our parts, but we are believing that the Lord has worked all this out too and we will actively seek his plans for us.

You know, I worked for maybe 13 doctors over the past 12+ years and they always treated me great and I felt like I was part of the team and the big picture, but once I sent my Letter of Resignation to them, they started calling me and writing some really nice Letters of Recommendation for me to put in my file. I am not trying to give myself some atta-girls (my slang), but it was very humbling to hear how much they valued me as a professional and especially as just "ME", just the way I am. I was teary eyed all week reading their letters, comments, etc.

I decided to quit my job as of April 30th so that I could begin the process of shutting down and dissolving my clients, etc. I have found some gals to take over my primary accounts, and I have agreed to train them so that will take some time too. But after the 30th, then I can shut down all my ancillary services and concentrate on packing.

Does anyone need: desks, various office stuff, a treadmill, car, leather coach, lawnmower, snow blower, kitchen hutch, bedroom dresser and longer dresser with mirror and hutch, kitchen table and four chairs, oak kitchen table, two-oak book cases, hand tools, etc., etc. If you need it, we probably have it and will be trying to get rid of it. I know that in passing some of you have said you may want some of the above items, but please let me know, as we want to start moving stuff outta here now! I just am feeling so overwhelmed and trying to do the next thing!

We are still waiting to hear that our buyer's loan has been approved and then we will no doubt breathe a little easier.

So, back to work I go. We are having some of the grand babies over the weekend for some fun time so I better get done. Have a great day!
